First snow

First measurable snowfall of the season.  Air temperatures that dropped down to 27 degrees overnight helped the snow "stick."  The ground was still fairly warm so there were a lot of spots where the snow melted, but I think a snow depth of 0.5 to 1.0 inches could be supported, depending on where you measured.  During the day we got up to 37 degrees, so most of the snow that was exposed to sunlight has melted away, but in the shadows the snow remains.
