New hobby: vintage sewing machines

I picked this lady up for $30 in Fraser on my way home from visiting Dad. She's a 398k with an original cabinet. Paul did a lot of work on the cabinet, but the machine sews well after an oiling. She was born in  XXXX. Notice the crocheted spool pad that Joni made for me.

SeamMaster is a Singer 128 clone made in Japan, born on XXX. New to me June 24, 2017; $19.99 in Williamsport Salvation Army

Meet Clair. She also came from Williamsport, new to me on June 24 2017, from the American Thrift Store: $5.00 in her Bentwood case. She's a hand crank with several shutles, missing only the rear plate to cover the shuttles. She spins smoothly and hums apparently contentedly after some oil. She's a 128 born in XXX.
Mable was my first. She's a Singer 66 in the original cabinet. She was $60 and another $60 or so to get cleaned and rewired professionally. She came from Snow Shoe and was born in XXXX
