Spring

I spent 2 hours out with the doggies planting stuff.  I planted all the sprouting garlic cloves and scallion bulbs.  I transplanted one of the elderberry bushes from the chicken coop area to the berry bush garden so it will be company to one I planted there last fall.  I transplanted one hazelnut bush from near the blue berries to the flower garden area.  Another hazelnut plant I dug up but its root was all twisted so I discarded it.  I then up 6 new holes from the berry bush area towards the water well for the Nanking and Hansens Bush cherry trees that should be arriving later this week.  
I was looking over at the daffodils in the aspen cut area and saw another wild flower there.  A low to the ground bright yellow flower with a dark green plant.  It turns out this flower is a yellow wood poppy—ones I got from Stephen Fast last fall.  I counted about 5 plants, 2 of the already in flower.  Kind of cool.
Hummingbird feeder is our ready for this year's visitors, due around Shannon and Lilly's birthdays.
