I installed my 6"
x 6" hemlock post 6' long into a 2'+ deep hole today and filled the
hole with rock. The hemlock has 2 coats of Land Ark Wood Finish. This is the orange scented "Jesus Juice" that Envinity used on the house.
The plastic rain gauge is held on with 3 screws in the base plate. The rain collection cylinder can be lifted up out of the base plate for measurements and to empty the gauge. Now I can tell how much rain we actually get up here on our little mountain. All it needs to finish it is a beautiful copper top.
