Big changes today

Doug, John, and Chris worked on window trim.  There's not much paint showing on the sides.
Scott and Jesse have all the blue stone cut for the base of the hearth.  The cement will set up overnight with a fan on it moving air around.
The Kohlhepps guys installed the countertops--kitchen Madura Gold, master bathroom sink Verde San Fransisco, and guest bathroom sink Paradisio.
Bill has placed the support bracket on the stairs going down to the basement landing and he mortised the hinges for the gate in the loft. It's easily removable, but also folds flat against the railing.
Adrian and Dwayne have installed the fluid manifold as well as the master pump.  Adrian wants to get the heat pump working by tomorrow, for the AC rather than the heat, I'm sure: today was in the mid 80's and humid.

Just as important: no freeranging Buddy today.

Granite: check

We drove out to Kohlhepps in DuBois this morning and selected stone for the kitchen, master bath, and upstairs bath counters. Two of our selections were from their remnants yard. We will also get a sink as part of their sale, but that may be put to use in our existing laundry room when we move the washer and dryer to the new house as a puppy wash station or brewery. The top is Verde San Fransisco and is for the master bath; it's green and black. The other is Paradiso and is for the upstairs guest bath. It's a black, gray amd pink/amethyst. The kitchen is very similar to the Carriage House kitchen (surprised?) but has less green; it's called Madura Gold. They all have lots of flow and character in the pieces. It's 1 1/4 hrs to DuBois so we hope these choices stick.
