Wing print in the snow

While on our 2:00PM walk on the Jennifer Trail loop I spotted a wing print on the ground just off the path. The wing print is about 1 foot across; the body print is about 18". There are a set of tracks that appear to lead right up to where the wing print and the body of the bird hit the snow. No sign of the critter that left the footprints.

Reading Two Rivers Greenwood **** Widower's trials as he raises an infant, keeps a friend's secret, finds his mother had a secret life and that her secret will transform his life. I bookmarked several quotes showing the author's interesting descriptions.
