Foster Fail

Adoption papers signed and a lifetime license paperwork in process. Griffin has a forever home.

No problem with Paris. they both like to be out the door first and they'd run their little hearts out if they could be off leash.

Jennifer and E are here for Spring Break.  Jennifer will work th whole time but E and I have a contract.  She can sleep till noon but then we'll do things together afternoon. She still fits in the fox hole. She has a Chinese class assignment to make a dinner, so we'll have to shop for that.  I hope she'll finish her Paris collage she started last year.  We traditionally go for sushi at least once.

E's Spring Break visit 2025

E came home with us from our Savannah family gathering and immediately fixed up her foxhole.  She says she'll saw off her legs or sleep like an egg before she gives up that privacy.  We'll see.  We did a lot in her week here between sleeping, computer/phone stuff, and playing with cats.  E did a great job of letting Sylvester come to her.  He was his usual cautious self but eventually came around to her.

We discovered that she has aged out of Kid to Kid where she used to get bags and bags of clothes on every visit.  We went next door to Cheapskate and didn't find anything worthwhile.

She made some rings and a pen on the lathe and took a drive in the RTV with Paul, discovered some downed trees and lots of natural pruning for firestarters.

We fixed a few pants and a uniform skort and then got to the real business: a collaged portrait of Paris.  In preparation we neeeeeeded moooooore fabric so we went to Scraps & Skeins and asked the UFO ladies for any scraps they had. Score.

She needs ears and a background, but that's for another day. We are off to Harrisburg Middletown Airport to fly home as E's last time as an unaccompanied minor and the falderol/paperwork/$$$ that goes along with that.
