New Year's Brunch with the Redmonds

The brunch is a lovely annual tradition for Jim and Cheryl.  Some of the invitees are only in town at this time of year.  We met a couple from Chicago and University of Michigan and talked chickens with another couple.  The Redmond's Mountain Home is well off the beaten path and the road up isn't maintained by town, county or state in the winter.  Jim did a fine job of clearing their long steep driveway.  Cheryl put on a delicious fresh egg based brunch with old-fashioned really sticky buns, just like my mother used to make.   We look forward to future events with them.
