Moved offices and heard I have a new job
Got car detailed so GG and Holly could stand to ride to MPLWD in it.
Had Skype and my camera installed on work computer
Had dead car battery at 5:00
Called AAA and raised the hood. After less than 5 minutes Max from Marketing jumped started the car so I called AAA and cancelled.
Drove to Sears to have battery tested and buy a new one. It was the original so I guess 7 years is good enough. While in the repair stall I noticed that the parking lights were on. I couldn't figure out how to turn them off.
Drove across the street to the Subaru lot, but of course the service dept was long gone. I asked a salesman what seemed like a very stupid question. He didn't know either and had to ask someone else; turns out there's small rocker switch on the steering wheel that the detailers flipped this morning that keeps the parking lights on when all the other lights are off and the key is out.
Drove to the detailers to let them know that they did a good job on the work contracted for, BUT they have to be aware of switches like this. The manager gave me a free wash.
A day of ups and downs.
Buddy gave Paul a turtle and found a rabbit nest but didn't catch anything there. Gambol wasn't involved.
